Researchers have in the past achieved a lot in the aspect of plant illnesses identification by exploring several techniques and models. We implement three different CNN models to detect plant disease among common crops given images of their leaves and compare the performance of a custom CNN architecture to that of an AlexNet model trained from scratch and an model AlexNet trained using transfer learning.
