Bitlocker auto-unlock not available
WebApr 23, 2024 · I go back, clear the TPM, make sure the drive is totally unencrypted and restart then hit "F12" to clear the TPM. Now when I flip on Bitlocker, I only get 2 options, neither of which includes the pin option which I really need. Below is how I have the policy set up. Not sure where I am going wrong, I want the drive encrypted and I need a pin. WebOct 3, 2024 · BitLocker enforces these settings when you turn it on, not when you unlock a volume. "it's either password-unlock or unlock via usb-key" - and that's the problem. Auto-unlock only works for c: if you use the TPM chip as protector, NOT a password or USB key. So obviously these systems have a TPM chip, but you didn't utilize it but used password/usb instead.
